We all went on the moors for a survival day. We went for a walk and found an injured person (Martyn), we had to go and find stuff to pick up a injured person and we made stretcher with piece of plastic and two big sticks and all of our team carried him to safety and after that we made two teams and made dens in 20 minutes and after that we tried to make fires and then we had some cake and custard and that was our day.

Taster Day - 21st January 2009

Hayley, Roger, John, Dean.

Hayley thought that the best part of the day was the snow men and the walk in the woods and snow.

Roger liked sitting around the fire drinking hot chocolate and dipping chocolate bar in his drink

John enjoyed having a snow fight with his news friends

Dean enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to a friend in need of help.

Martyn and Mark were fantastic and we were glad to have them instead of stubborn people, thank you.

Get On Ya Bike

Mountain biking from Princetown to Plymouth was actually pretty amazing. I thought it was just going to be a really long bike ride, when in fact not only was it a lot bigger than I thought, I got really muddy which was class and I saw some really amazing views. Some of the hills were really steep going up and down, we had to put a lot of effort into it and made sure we was in control. I’m glad I done it and I want to do it more often, maybe get bigger and bigger as I go along. It was fun dressed as reindeers and Santa made everyone else laugh and smile at us which made us quite happy as well. To tip it all off at the end a big crowd on the hoe stopped us and a man said “Hey, didn’t we see you unloading the van at Princetown?”
And that just made us all really happy. We got some funny pictures as well and hopefully we are getting some kind of certificate so we can add that to our portfolios.
